Do You Participate in Diplomacy?
Of course we do, it is natural for services operating abroad. Our main customer is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our service provides important support for the diplomacy of the Czech Republic. In addition, upon the agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UZSI has its officers in some Czech embassies abroad, where they serve as our service's official representatives. These diplomats, who publicly declare that they represent our intelligence service, serve as the full partners of other services' official representatives serving in the embassies in the same country. It is the so-called intelligence diplomacy, which is a standard part of the diplomacy itself.
